Reports in Sisulizer
Sisulizer can generate friendly HTML reports for some important features. These reports can be used to preview progress of your job, send to your employers (e.g. Statistics reports) or send to Sisulizer support team (e.g. Output messages). You can generate reports for following features:
Output messages
Reports can store important messages about scan, build, import operations, using of Translation Memory etc. You can generate reports for:
- Current output messages – via click on first button (“Show Report”) of Output pane toolbar
- Selected history message – for opening Output History dialog you should click on forth button (“Show History”) of Output pane toolbar. Next select appropriated item on list in Output History dialog and click on “Report” button in this dialog
Information included to output reports can be very useful for your developers or for our support team. You can find more information about it in this article on our blog.
Before report saving Sisulizer asks you about location and name of generated HTML file:
To build 303 our developers added new feature for adding timestamps to name of generated reports. This option was marked by red rectangle on above screenshot. Of course this feature is available for all reports generated by Sisulizer.
Validation
Via buttons “Show list report” and “Show summary report” available via toolbar of “Validation” pane you can generate following report types:
- Validation List – it contains detailed list with all found incorrectly items
- Validation Summary – it displays statistics summary for validation operation
More information about validation features you can find in this article on our blog.
Below is screenshot from some validation list report:
Statistics
You can generate statistics reports via:
- Show report button on Statistics pane toolbar
- Project menu -> Show report menu item
This report contains detailed information about translation statistics and it can be used to exchange information between translators and developers and can be used as base for potential settlements. Before generating report, Sisulizer asks about location of saved HTML file, but you can here also customize contents of this report by selecting following options:
- Show statistics in strings
- Show statistics in words
- Show statistics in characters
More information about Statistics feature you can find in this article on our blog.
Below is part of example statistics report:
Using of “Add timestamp to filenames” feature allows you in an easy and comfortable way to collect Sisulizer’s reports of this same type for future comparing based on date and time. For example cyclic saving of Statistics reports allows you monitor translation progress.
